Tuesday meeting was called to order by President Brian at precisely 12:15.Bruce led us in the opening prayer with Veronica leading us in” God Bless America”. Again we thank the hotel staff for a wonder meal with the choice of fish served with both rice and mixed vegetables. It would be appreciated if more thanks were extended to the staff.

Secretaries Report:  Many thanks to our secretary Paula for her following report. We had one club guest, that soon to be a member, Jonathon Marcus who has completed initiation phase of three meeting. He will be submitting his application this coming week with Sergio administering the oath of allegiance in the coming weeks. We had one other member guest a friend of Rick G, Steve Waxman. The club had a guest speaker that being Lindsay Laguana from Boston University. The attendance report for the week was 26 members signed in out of a possible 51 which translate into 50%, a good turnout. There were no anniversaries or birthday listed. One announcement of a sad moment was the passing of the mother of Robert Baskies.

President Report:  Brian had no club business to report.

Members Corner:  Joe V reported that the “Taste of Chelsea “was a great success with 401 people attending this event. There were 28 vendors who served a great variety of food. Thank you to all the sponsors, vendors, volunteers and all the people who attended. The event raised over thirty thousand dollars for Harbor Cove. Congratulation goes out to Veronica Robles our own T.V host and Mariachi singer who was invited by the Mexican Consulate and Dallas Texas major to be the judge for the first mariachi festival contest. This event will be happening on the weekend of October 24 & 25. Thank you Veronica for this information and please give us some detail for next week rotogram on the winners and events that took place at this festival. The Clubs golf league results for Tuesday showed that Barry was the overall winner of the foursome of Sue, Fella Barry and Mike.

Next weeks edition of the news letter will have and interesting story from captain mike one who will inform us of the $42,000 jackpot. This should be good, can’t wait to hear. The softball banquet will be held at Captain Mike’s house on October 1, please drop Mike a line if you will be attending. Mike will initiate a hand count next week for all those who will be attending.
