Members Corner:

Some key notes from various members:

Poor Bruce was extremely sad that his beloved Bret Favre was eliminated from the NFL playoffs but says that the world has not heard the last of Bret.

Sue and Barbara were happy to report that the Diva’s had a most enjoyable dinner the other night. By the way what has happened to Diane tell her that we all miss her.

Paula announced that she had a most entertaining evening over the weekend when she attended a Country & Western concert at a Boston night club. We hope that she did not destroy too many champagne glass like she did on Thursday.

Mike F announced that March eleventh will be the pot of gold dinner at the Kowloon restaurant on route one.

Our guest speaker for the day was Dave Boudreau and his speech was on how he came to be a bone marrow donor. If you weren’t there it was a fascinating rendition on the whole process of how he came to be called as a bone marrow donator. The process involved several medical procedures and pints of blood and marrow mixture. He is happy to report that the recipient is alive and well at the present time and in a couple of months he will have the opportunity to see him. All he knows at the present time is that he is from Canada. Dave gave out a letter that he received from the recipient over the holidays and it was very moving, he also had several pictures of his stay in the hospital that were most informative. Congratulations to Dave for he truly embodies the theme of “Service above Self and I believe that Dave has taken this one step beyond as in ‘Service above the Rest”.
